Scouts have zero attack values. So can it help to reduce scouting losses if I upgrade them in the blacksmith?

I'm fairly sure upgrading scouts in the blacksmith increases there scouting ability

Edit: confirmed it will upgrade their scouting effectiveness

Upgrade in blacksmith increse attack value in %, so blacksmith won't help if attack value is 0.

It does help scouting efficiency. You will lose less scouts when scouting someone or your opponent will lose more when scouting you.
